Right now, my favorite project is to analyze the gene expression from tomato experiments. These experiments range from analyzing different tissues of tomatoes to subjecting tomatoes to heat and other factors. In total we have results from hundreds of experiments.
The questions that we will answer include:
-What genes express differently between these experiments? What are so special about these genes?
-Which tissues and experimental conditions are similar to each other in terms of gene expression and what does this tell us about the tomato biology?

      Hi Jash,

Currently my favorite project is studying the role of natural selection on gene duplicates. After the gene duplicates itself million years ago, both copies are subject to natural selection. We’re interested to figure out how different selection force is on the two almost identical copies : )
