  Technically, no, I’m still a biologist, but I like that analogy : )
  
  I’m like an archeologist in the sense that I infer what has happened in the past from the evidence I find today. But instead of looking at pot, statues, and ancient ruins, I look at fruit fly genes and try to figure out what changes might have occurred throughout time.
